You know, I was in the newspaper club at my old school, too. Emma How was it?

there were a lot of club members. My old school was twice as big as this
school. The school newspaper couldn't publish everyone's articles. .
Emma Oh,
that's disappointing!

X times as 形容詞 as A
My old school was twice as big as this
school.

X times as # as A
あるものが「Aの2倍...」と言うとき、<twice as 形容詞 as A〉で表します。3倍 以上の場合は、three
times.four times...のように、〈X times as 形容詞 as A) という形を用います。ものや人について説明するとき、相手がよく知っているものや人と比較して何倍、と言うと、具体的にイメージしてもらうことができます。
