Ayane                  Earlier, I saw a woman in a denim dress on the boardwalk..

Min-jun                I saw her, too. She had big sunglasses, right?

Ayane                  Yeah. She gave me a design idea! Her outfit looked fashionable, but casual and comfortable.

Min-jun                I liked her white sneakers, too.

Ayane                  Right! I have to finish my designs soon.

Min-jun                How many days do you have until the deadline?

Ayane                  About one week. I mean... it's a secret!

彩音:                    さっき、遊歩道でデニムのワンピースを着ている女の人を見たわ。 ミンジュン:         ぼくも見たよ。大きなサングラスをかけていたよね?

綾音:                    そう。あの人、わたしにデザインのアイデアを与えてくれたわ! あの服装はおしゃれだけど、カジュアルで着心地よさそうだった。

ミンジュン:         ぼくは白いスニーカーもいいなって思ったよ。

彩音:                    そうだね!(ため息)わたし、もうすぐデザインを完成させなきゃ。

ミンジュン:         締め切りまで何日ある?

彩音:                    1週間ぐらい。あ、というか...秘密よ!

How many+名詞(複数形)...?

何かがいくつあるかたずねるとき、〈How many +名詞(複数形)...?)を使います。 How manyの直後に名詞が来ること、そして名詞は複数形にすることに注意しましょう。 この文では、<How many + 名詞(複数形)〉に疑問文の語順が続いていますが、<How many +名詞(複数形)が主語の場合は、肯定文の語順になります。
